WOMEN’S MINISTRY

We are a community of women devoted to glorifying God, loving one another, and growing together in faith. Whether you’re new to our church or have been part of our journey for years, we invite you to connect, grow, and serve with us.

Our Purpose

To encourage women to grow deeper in love of Jesus. To stir up a hunger for His word. To walk together, hand-in-hand, helping each other become more like Him. Our desire is to trust and depend upon God alone in every area of our lives, for His glory!

Ladies Support Group - Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse - 1st Sunday of the Month

  • Moving from victim to survivor is key to truly healing.

  • Satan wants us to believe that God is not good and does not care about our pain, but our Father God is never blind to the sins that hurt His people! We can find great comfort in Jesus who understands abuse. He suffered great abuse and even death to give us life. There is no greater love than that! He brings hope for today and tomorrow, and most certainly, hope for dealing in victory with harmful past circumstances.

  • Every woman who has experienced childhood sexual abuse carries unique scars. Some develop walls and coping mechanisms. Some may feel damaged, see themselves as a sex object, flaunt their sexuality and descend into promiscuity and other sexual sins. Some might be responding with anxiety, depression, self-loathing, anger, fear, eating disorders, or addictions.

  • Many women even experience suppressed memories. Sifting through flashes of this evil past can be difficult to navigate. Satan doesn’t care how we react to the sinfulness of sexual abuse as long as we don’t turn to Jesus. The enemy knows that when we find our identity, security, and dignity in Christ, we CAN live in victory, moving from victim to survivor.

  • The goal for this group is to achieve victory over Satan’s work and find freedom and healing through Jesus Christ our Redeemer.

  • Our trauma is a lifelong journey. It doesn’t leave our memory and there are times when triggers cause the pain to resurface. We will forever have each other to lean on in those troubling times. We are sisters in Christ and we are stronger together!

  • “Two are better than one because they have good reward for their efforts. For if either falls, his companion can lift him up; but pity the one who falls without another to lift him up.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

  • Meets every 1st Sunday at 12:15 Room 101

"Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him who is the head, that is, Christ. From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work."

Ephesians 4:15-16
